Join an international community of students and scholars for an intensive ten-day summer programme exploring the political, social, and institutional dynamics shaping contemporary Europe. What is this programme about?
The EPS Summer School offers a dynamic and immersive advanced engagement with the study of European politics, society, and governance. Over the course of ten days, participants explore the key debates shaping contemporary Europe—from European integration and democratic institutions to policy-making processes and the major political challenges facing the continent today.
Designed especially for motivated MA and PhD students, the programme combines high-level academic lectures, interactive seminars, and collaborative discussions. Participants will engage with leading scholars and experts while exchanging perspectives with an international cohort of students from diverse disciplinary and national backgrounds.
The summer programme is closely connected to the European Politics and Society (EPS) Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree, one of the European Union’s flagship academic initiatives supporting international cooperation and excellence in higher education.
Hosted at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, the programme offers participants the chance to study Europe from the heart of Central Europe, in a vibrant academic environment that combines intellectual exchange with rich cultural experience.

Applicants will be asked to submit:
