Applications for the EPS Summer School 2026 are now open. Please review the requirements below before submitting your application. We are reviewing on a rolling basis and selected participants will be notified by email.

The application deadline is 20 June 2026 (23:59 CET).
Late applications cannot be considered.

Before applying, please prepare the following documents:
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Motivation Letter (1–1.5 pages, Calibri 11, 1.5 spacing, 2.5 cm margins)
• Proof of English proficiency (C1 level)

Required Documents

All documents must be uploaded in PDF or DOC/DOCX format.

Applicants must submit a current Curriculum Vitae (CV) outlining their academic background, relevant coursework, research interests, and any professional or extracurricular experience.

Your CV should include:

  • Current university and degree programme

  • Academic background and relevant coursework

  • Research interests or academic focus

  • Relevant professional, research, or internship experience (if applicable)

The CV should preferably be 1–2 pages in length.

Applicants must submit a motivation letter explaining their interest in participating in the EPS Summer School.

The letter should clearly address:

  • Your academic background and field of study

  • Your interest in the topic of the summer school

  • How the programme relates to your academic or professional goals

The motivation letter must follow the following formatting requirements:

  • Length: 1–1.5 pages

  • Font: Calibri, size 11

  • Line spacing: 1.5

  • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides

Please note that exceeding the maximum length may result in a penalty during the evaluation of the application.

Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency at a minimum level of C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Accepted certificates include, for example:

  • IELTS

  • TOEFL

  • Cambridge English (CAE / CPE)

  • TOEIC

Applicants may also submit other internationally recognized certificates demonstrating an equivalent level of proficiency.

Alternative Proof

Applicants who have completed their previous degree programme entirely in English may submit a Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate issued by their university.

In some cases, an official transcript indicating English as the language of instruction may also be accepted.
