#1: Europaeum Winter School on Survivance and Survival

The Europaeum, EPS associated partner, invites our students to submit the application for the 2024 edition of the winter school that will take place from January 29 to February 2, 2024, at the University of Tartu. Check the call for papers at the Europaeum website for the details on how to apply and the content of the event.

The deadline for applications is on October 22, 2023.

#2: Webinar on EU politics in the V4

The Europeum, the EPS associated partner, organizes an online webinar on United in Fragmentation: Comparing Migration, Climate, Post-Pandemic Recovery and Rule of Law Policies and Discourse in the V4. The webinar will take place on October 23, 2023, from 5 to 6 p.m. The link will be distributed based on the registration.

#3: Lecture on The EU’s response to Brexit: united and effective

LSE European Institute invites you to join the public event on The EU’s response to Brexit: united and effective on October 26, 2023, from 6.30 to 8.00 pm (BST) with Brigid Laffan, Emeritus Professor at the European University Institute. The event is chaired by Kevin Featherstone, Professorial Research Fellow at the European Institute, LSE. Join either in-person or online. Find out more at the LSE website.

#4: Lecture on Black feminism in Europe

Join another lecture offered by the LSE European Institute on Black feminism in Europe on October 30, 2023, from 6.30 to 8.00 pm (BST) with Mame-Fatou Niang, Associate Professor of French and Francophone Studies, Carnegie Mellon University; SM Rodriguez, Assistant Professor, Department of Gender Studies, LSE. The event is chaired by Joanna Lewis, Director, LSE Centre for Women, Peace and Security. Join either in-person or online. See the details here.


International night at FSV UK

The Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University invites all students to join the international night on October 23, 2023, starting at 6 p.m. at Campus Hybernská. Get known students from other programmes at the faculty and Czechia through games!


#1: Mindful Mundus Project

Let us draw your attention to Erasmus Mundus Project called Mindful Mundus for students of these programmes. The project organized various webinars offering to gain essential life skills, improve their mental well-being, and become more culturally aware – all of which are invaluable for their academic and personal growth. The focus is on mental health support and intercultural experience.

#2: Traineeship call with EuroClio

EuroClio – European Association for History Educators, based in The Hague, offers traineeships starting in February 2024. The EuroClio is an international NGO working with history, civics, and heritage educators and education professionals for the development of educational resources and capacity-building opportunities in Europe and beyond. The deadline for applications is on December 4, 2023.


#1: Brussels Field Trip

The 2023 edition of the Brussels Field Trip takes place on November 20-21, 2023. The BFT is organized only for 1st-year students. The EPS compulsory classes will be canceled for the dates of November 20-22. The detailed information and programme will be shared with participants via email later.

Let us remind that travel and accommodation are arranged and covered by students.

#2: Barcelona Research Seminar

The 2023 edition of the Barcelona Research Seminar takes place on January 17-18, 2024, and will gather all 2nd-year students of the EPS programme studying at all partner universities. Please do not forget to communicate your MA thesis topics to the EPS email by October 24, 2023.

#1: Excellence and Leadership Award Results

Winners of the 2023 edition of the Excellence and Leadership Award are Alvaro Fernandez Cruz and Irina Percemli. See the details on the EPS website. Congratulations to the winners and thank all applicants for their participation!
