READING TIP : Dark Avenues and Other Stories, 1946 (author: Ivan Bunin) Read a collection of short stories written by Nobel Prize-winning author Ivan Bunin. The book devoted entirely to the concept of love,” is regarded in Russia as Bunin’s masterpiece. These stories are characterized by dark, erotic liaisons and love affairs that are, according to James B. Woodward, marked by a contradiction that emerges from the interaction of a love that is enamored in sensory experiences and physicality with a love that is a supreme, if ephemeral, “dissolution of the self. FREQUENT QUESTION / DO NOT FORGET When will EPS graduates have the final ceremony at Charles University? The date of the final graduation ceremony at CU has already been settled to March 19, 2025, (time TBC) so you might put it on your agenda!
