Domestic foundations of small states’ participation in EU decision-making

To our EPS students located in Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona, we would like to invite you to the session held by Professor Tomáš Weiss on Domestic foundations of small states’ participation in EU decision-making. The lecture will take place Tuesday 28 February at 12:00 at room 20.287.

The lecture will discuss the concept of a “small state” and the position of small states in EU policymaking. It will adress the link between domestic politics and the role of small states in the EU. Professor Weiss as Associate Professor at Charles University Prague focused primarily on the foreign and security policy of the EU, and the Europeanization of the foreign policy of the member states, will also be available in the office 20.114 for you to discuss topics related to your research! If you intend to meet him, please send him a brief concept in advance via email.
