Join us for a conversation with Professor David Gioe in the context of Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine and the role of intelligence in that war. The lecture takes place offline at Leiden University on February 8, 2023, at 15:15 room 2.12.

David V. Gioe has been a national security practitioner for over 22 years. David is a British Academy Global Professor and Visiting Professor of Intelligence and International Security in the Department of War Studies at King’s College London. He is History Fellow for the Army Cyber Institute at the US Military Academy at West Point, Director of Studies for the Cambridge Security Initiative, and is co-convener of its International Security and Intelligence program. He is a former Central Intelligence Agency operations officer, a former FBI intelligence analyst, and remains a senior officer in the US Navy Reserve.
