Making Sense of Turbulent Times

This year’s edition of Oxford Spring School taking place from April 17 to April 20, focused on incorporating turbulence into existing models of society, invites candidates from masters and doctoral studies to send their paper proposals. Especially following topics are welcomed:

  • War and conflict
  • News, information, and media
  • Politics and elections
  • Demographics and migration
  • Health and humanities

Applications should include the Europaeum application form, a brief CV, a statement of purpose (max. 500 words), and a reference letter from their academic supervisor. The application deadline is on January 21, 2024

Please note that the application call is open only for 2nd-year students applying for the research presentation. 2nd-year students might be accepted as a presenter or a discussant based on the quality and/or relevance of the application to the call. If there are not enough successful applications from 2nd-year students, a second call for 1st-year students to participate as discussants will be launched.
