Second-year students can apply for the Best Thesis Award by September 20, 2024.
Students are eligible for the Best Thesis Award in case they have received either two reviews suggesting the grade “A” or one review suggesting “A” and one suggesting “B”. In the case of the MA thesis defence at Leiden University, students with a joint review grade “A” and “B” are eligible.
Only theses submitted by the regular EPS submission deadline (June 14, 2024) are eligible for the Best Thesis Award.
Students nominate themselves or may be nominated by a fellow student or supervisor via email to eps@fsv.cuni.cz. The email must include the full text of the MA thesis in pdf format and both reviews (a joint review in case of a thesis submitted in Leiden).
The EPS joint committee will announce the result of the Best Thesis Award in October The winner will be invited to present their research at Barcelona Research Seminar in January 2025. Besides, the award is accompanied by a financial prize.
