Maxine David

Dr. Maxine David is the EPS Academic Coordinator in Leiden and Lecturer in European Politics there. Her main areas of research are Foreign Policy Analysis, especially EU-Russia and Russia-US Relations. She is currently working as Co-Editor and contributing author to the Handbook on EU-Russian Relations (forthcoming 2019). She also works on International Intervention and teaches a course on this each year as part of the International Summer School in Comparative Conflict Studies, convened in Belgrade, Serbia. She is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Contemporary European Research (www.jcer.net and on Twitter @JCERJournal). Prior to joining Leiden University she was Undergraduate Programme Director and Director of Teaching and Learning for the Department of Politics at the University of Surrey, UK, for which she was responsible for the management of all BA and MA programmes and for the creation, validation and re-validation of single honours, combined honours and Major-Minor degree programmes.
